FORMATION OF CPT 82

It all started from our Batch mate N.Shriram– SW-Mech daughter’s wedding, We met our Batch mate K.R.Suresh Kumar– SW-Mech  @ the function who took us to other batch mates whom we could merely identify.

It just struck that ‘life is what happens when we are busy making other memories”, Looking back it was almost 32 years and I started thinking of the rush life dragged all these years. Meeting them instilled the good old memories, freezing to the glorious times of fun, love, laughter, joy, tears, and a lot more that my words cannot be put in. Without a thought the first thing that came to our Batch mate R.BalaBaskaran– SW-Mech  was to create a small group in whatsapp and started adding our Batch mates,

Thanks to our Batch mate Satish Kumar.M – Civil who took over the group and started adding batch mates, A Team of our Batch mate helped him in his mission

Thanks to our Batch mate R.C.Kumar– Mech  who joined  the group with 30 Batch mate  (He had this team of Hostellers earlier  & was having Family Get-together).

Thanks to our friends who created this group, The group of 4 became 300 today. Each day was an adventure of being connected with every additional member to the group, asking them how their days have been, and the journey of these 32 years. Thanks to M.Satish Kumar,  R.C.Kumar & Team who helped in connecting more people and in expanding the group into an organisation.

Thanks to the Team work of Brahmendra Barathi.T.A, Shriram.N, Gautham.S for the formation of the Bye laws & registering under Society Acts.

Several Meetings were held in the Offices of Satish Kumar.M, Gautham.S & G.P.Thirumurugan and decided the the First meeting on 21.12.2014 @ T Nagar club.

With all the excitement and fun happened the first individual meeting in T Nagar club followed by the visit to CPT ( Buses were arranged by G.P.Thirumurugan .

There were more joyous tears, hugs, peace and meeting everyone was a huge sweet surprise. We all have greyed aged but the moment we met you all, it brought an unsaid strength, feeling like a teenager again, with all those old jokes and stories. The hall was filled with emotions.

This is our purpose, not everyone other individual of our age gets to have an opportunity to share such sweet memories. Present generation will also be taking such steps, we are not just making memories but telling the world who we are.
