It all started from our Batch mate N.Shriram– SW-Mech daughter’s wedding, We met our Batch mate K.R.Suresh Kumar– SW-Mech @ the function who took us to other batch mates whom We could merely identify.

It just struck that ‘life is what happens when we are busy making other memories”, Looking back it was almost 32 years and I started thinking of the rush life dragged all these years. Meeting them instilled the good old memories, freezing to the glorious times of fun, love, laughter, joy, tears, and a lot more that my words cannot be put in. Without a thought the first thing that came to our Batch mate R.BalaBaskaran– SW-Mech was to create a small group in whatsapp and started adding our Batch mates

In the year 1946, the name of the institution was The Central Polytechnic, Madras and the institution was then conducting seven full-time diploma courses of three years duration each in (i) Civil Engineering (ii) Mechanical Engineering (iii) Electrical Engineering (iv) Sanitary Engineering (v) Printing Technology (vi) Cinematography and Sound Engineering (vii) Fisheries Technology and Navigation. As an Association, we have been organizing an annual get-together for the past few years. We have selected 1^st May for this event. We could not conduct this for the past 2 years due to the pandemic. However we managed to have an online web conference this year through Zoom…

PROJECTS

The Association decided to support the Institute by providing Water supply as it was very scarce during the year……. We funded for a Deep borewell and provided necessary infrastructure and provided the need water supply for the Institute.
